lory can be used on its own or a jQuery plugin, and is great for building all kinds of sliders.
By this we mean developers have a huge array of options at their disposal that enables them to create multiple sliders in various formats, even embedding them all on the same page.
They can control the number of visible panels in the slider's container, the speed at which items are changed, add easing functions to the slider transition, and even turn on a looping feature to keep the slides going in a circular motion.
External controls can be added, like next/prev arrows. There isn't a built-in dotted pagination feature in lory, but a slideTo function is included which will allow developers to move the slider to a specific item.
The slider themselves can easily be customized via CSS-based themes, and the carousels can be fitted with equal-width or variable-width items.
Examples and usage instructions are included with the lory download package.
