SiteGuardian.com's WP Antivirus Site Protection plugin allows webmasters to secure their site and prevent any embarrassing situations where their private data may be leaked, or even lose access to the entire site altogether.
WP Antivirus Site Protection works by regularly scanning a website for known vulnerabilities and pointing problems out in the resulted reports.
The plugin is currently capable of detecting:
- MySQL injections
- JavaScript injections
- Trojan horse infections
- Social engineering attacks
- Adware and spyware scrips
- Hidden iframes
- Website defacements
- Website anomalies
- Malicious redirects
- XSS
- Rootkits
- Fraudtools
- PHP mailer spam
- Phishing page detection
- Backdoors
- Drive-by-downloads
- .htaccess hacks
- Internet worms
Currently WP Antivirus Site Protection is available for free, but with a limited feature set. To get access to the full options, a PRO (paid) license is necessary.
Also, to use the plugin webmasters must be willing to register with their email addresses on SiteGuardian.com (fully-automated, one-click process integrated with the WordPress site backend).
