Rimg is a standalone JavaScript library that works completely on the client's side and does not need any type of server-side component.
The library allows images to automatically change their src attribute in tune with the page's viewport width.
Developers can setup different images to use depending the user's screen resolution, allowing the optimal delivery of image content to user devices, with minimum bandwidth usage and maximum visual performance.
Rimg supports embedded and background images alike, lazy loaded photos, is framework agnostic, and can be re-configured at runtime if needed.
The images are quite easy to setup, work on a pretty simple naming scheme, and also support Retina-enabled devices.
Usage instructions and a few demos are included with the library's download package.
