Material Menu, as the name hints, is heavily inspired by Google's Material Design guidelines.
It uses non-intrusive graphic styles that are easy to distinguish and interact with.
The Material Menu plugin works in a very simple manner. On wide-screen devices it displays the site's navigation in its natural form, as a horizontal, multi-level, nested, drop-down menu.
When the user accesses the site from a small-screen device, or resizes the browser window, then the menu is hidden and a hamburger icon (☰) is shown instead.
Clicking this icon will show the menu, but in a vertical form inside a fly-out panel animated from the left side.
The plugin relies on CSS3 as much as possible, but also comes with plenty of customizable parameters.
