Syncing with MobileMe is the most convenient way of syncing your Wallet information to devices. Using your MobileMe account, Wallet keeps all of your devices up to date.
To set up MobileMe sync in Wallet, head to the Wallet Preferences and click on the Sync tab. Enter your MobileMe member name and password, and close the window.
To start a sync, click the button in the Wallet toolbar. This may take a few minutes depending on the size of your database. You'll be notified of any errors that occur. Once succesfully completed, the animation will stop.
If you have your own WebDAV server, you may set up Wallet to sync using it.
To set up WebDAV sync in Wallet, head to the Wallet Preferences and click on the Sync tab. If it's not already selected, click the sync pop-up button and choose WebDAV Sync. Enter the exact address of your server in the server location field. Enter a username and password if required, and close the window.
- When providing your server address, specify the exact path for where you want your Wallet database to be stored, and make sure that this directory already exists.
- Do not append a file name - Wallet automatically stores the database as "Database.wallet".
