Description
Stamp your desktop with essential system information!
System Stamp will apply information such as host name, operating system version, memory, and processor configuration onto your desktop wallpaper. Freely choose the information items that you want to show, and the order of the items. The font and color can be adjusted, as well as the placement of the text. You can also choose to use a solid background color, instead of an image. Multiple monitors are supported, with separate backgrounds and stamp items for each monitor.
System Stamp does not change your original desktop wallpaper image, but generates a new image based on the source image you choose.
System Stamp is a great utility for users or developers who want to know critical information about the system they are using — with just a quick glance at the desktop!

Does what it says
I mainly purchased this for the custom text option, I have been using it to set reminders or custom shortcuts which I havent memorized yet
It's ok
This is a good tool, especially for the price, but it has some problems before you buy it. First, once you display the information on your screen, there is no option to turn the display off. You have to remove all the items to display and then hit the "stamp" button to display nothing. It needs an "Turn Off" display option. Second, adding or removing items is very slow. I assume it's retrieving the information but it takes time and makes changes tedious. Third, when you quit, it doesn't remember the font size you set and resets it to the largest size. Not cool. I hope it gets updated.

These issues were all fixed or improved after the 1.0 release.
Five stars for an awesome effort...but...
...need a way to refresh on each login. Right now you have to launch the app and hit STAMP for the text to update.
