Basic Usage

Copy color values to clipboard

To copy a color value of the selected color to the clipboard just click on that color value you want copied.

Drag colors to a text editor

Colors from a color well can be dragged onto text areas to quickly paste the color value of that color.

To drag a color from a color well, left-click and hold on the color and drag it over to the text area you want the value pasted.

The format of this color value can be specified in the preferences window under the Color Formats tab.

Drag color value text onto color wells

Text in the format of one of the four color formats specified in the Color Formats preferences can be dragged and dropped onto a color well to change its color.

For example: If you have a standard hex color format (#%XRXGXB), you can drag "#FFFFFF" onto a color well to change its color to white.

Drag color or text onto palette

Colors from a color well can be dragged onto the main or global palette to add a new color well of that color.

Text in a format specified in the Color Formats preferences can also be dragged onto the main or global palette to add a new color.

Paste into color well

Color or text can be pasted into color wells in the main palette. If the clipboard contains both color and text, the color value will be used.

Text values must be in a format defined in the Color Formats preferences tab.
